Instructions:

For the semolina slices, first boil sugar and water for the syrup over medium heat for 10 minutes, then let cool.

Put semolina, baking powder and mastic in a bowl.

Mix oil, sugar and yogurt vigorously in a blender or with a whisk. Add to the semolina mixture and mix well.

Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and cut into pieces. Place an almond on each piece.

Bake in the oven at 160 °C convection oven (180 °C top and bottom heat) for about 60 minutes until golden brown. While the semolina slices are still hot, pour the cold syrup over them.
