For the quick nut crescents, mix the finely grated walnuts with vanilla sugar, powdered sugar and rum. Cut the puff pastry lengthwise into 5 strips, widthwise into 3 strips.

Spread the nut mixture crosswise on the pastry sheets, place the crosswise tips over the nut mixture, roll up and bend into croissants.

Brush the Quick Nut Crescents with milk and bake for 15 minutes at 180°.
