Instructions:

First cut the knockwurst into approx. 30 mm thin slices. Also cut the onion into fine rings, chop the chives into fine rolls.

Mix the sausage, onion and chives in a bowl.

For the marinade, mix oil, vinegar, salt and water. Pour the marinade over the sausage mixture and mix everything together thoroughly.

Preparation Tip:

It goes very well with a hard-boiled egg, brown bread or a salted stangerl.
